Once real estate agents
have been practicing awhile, many of them have a desire to enlarge their territories, to increase their knowledge, thereby increasing the value they bring into their practice. A broker is respected as having a large degree of understanding of the real estate license laws, of investment real estate
, and the know-how to manage a real estate office. The only requirements needed to obtain a broker license include a real estate agent must have satisfactorily completed a 45-Hr. Post License course connected with a sales license, and must be in the practice of real estate for at least two years and that practice must be under the direction of a Broker. Once these two requirements are met, the student must satisfactorily complete a 72-Hr. Pre Broker class, which then allows them to take a State exam.
